The newest logo features my full initials, bringing in the P which acts as the basis to create a subtle but effective 'eye' image, reflecting one of my strongest character traits, a keen eye on the world, be it graphic design, arts, music or just general news etc. I like to keep informed.
Here is Avenir Bold, the P wasn't round enough for my liking.
Avenir Light suited much better with the even more circular counter within the P completing the eye aesthetic.
I think the finished logo is both serious and classic but with a hint of playfulness, which hopefully reflects my work output.
I've mocked up some webpages here. This first is a little too serious and dreary, but I feel that 'Leeds based Visual Designer' sums me up well and concisely.
This is much a much better layout , more spacious and clean feeling with the plain white background.
The finished homepage, with logo and scrolling section which in theory would go through all of my projects - I've included Reappropriate, Look Out, Bastion and Cop Out as examples. I liek how the text hangs slightly off the bottom of the slightly faded photographs of the projects.
I will look at how to re-appropriate the home-screen for use on smaller screen sizes such as a smartphone or tablet.
