We all decided on Elliot's design (below) for the logo of Fresh Prints. The concept behind the design is in the small wave at the bottom of the coloured section which indicates the ink when pulled through on a screen while silkscreen printing.
We wanted something which would quickly communicate that we make things with ink and by hand but still with enough clean, well thought out typography to ensure our clients aren't thinking that were just a printmaker / shop.
I'm really happy with the logo and we all feel that it can be implemented nicely across a range of media and adapt to colour changes as and when appropriate.
The watermelon green reflects the 'fresh' aspect of the business and has visual connotations with watermelon / miscellaneous fruit.
