I had mixed feelings about doing a presentation. On the one hand I rarely look forward to presenting work, but I like the task of looking back over the year and evaluating what has gone well or badly.
I find that the aesthetic of a presentation says a lot about the presenter. Particularly as a graphic design student, I feel that the aesthetic should be considered and appropriate to the task.
My presentation is quite stark and minimal, reflecting my preferred design aesthetic but also - hopefully - a personality trait of mine to keep the things i'm saying concise and to the point.
Anyway, I actually enjoyed presenting the thoughts and work of my year on the course, and found it really helpful and insightful to see what other people thought about their first years too.
