Through applying for placements, I've quickly realised that most specify a pdf portfolio of work as apposed to a link to a website.
I'll still include a link to my site which has a more extensive portfolio of my work on it but I'm happy to put together a pdf of my favourite 'Selected Work' (shown here).
Comprising of a very simple two column grid, I believe it shows a designer not wanting to overcomplicate and intrude on the ideas which are the main focus for a pdf such as this.
I decided to include this light hearted photo of myself. It's not too serious and plays nicely against the otherwise quite sober layout and colour scheme.
I started with my favourite and most complete project to date, my book collecting images and cuttings from my grandpa's life with cars and racing.
I included some personal, self-initiated work as a way of avoiding employers seeing the same d&ad projects again and again. This project for my band Walleater - the records have been sent worldwide!
Also included examples of branding which I've loved working on this year. The Fresh Prints project is my favourite branding that I've been a part of and shows a sense of humour in my work and a willingness to work as a team!
Finally I included my Feathr wallpaper, showing a competition brief that I've been successful in!
