OUGD502 / PPP2 / Studio Brief 1 / My Brand

The aesthetic of my branding on my business cards is informed by the decision to use hand rendered typography on my website header.

I feel that my handwriting is distinct and has its' own personality in a way that a font designed by somebody else just couldn't quite convey. It also shows my willingness to use hand crafted type in my work and this is reflected throughout my portfolio.

As with the website, I decided to keep the colours very muted, largely black and white with a cool grey on the other side.

I used Real, a favourite legible sans serif font to convey my contact info and brought in a hand drawn line to separate some of the info and link back to the hand drawn type on the front of the card.

Overall, it's slick and understated, reflecting my work.
