However, as a young company, their servers are terrible and slow and it just came across as unprofessional on my part to put my work on a site that took a whole minute to load.
Another problem was that it works as a kind of static - add your content to the bottom - page so anything new went to the bottom, not good for keeping the work fresh!
Decided today to move over to trusty tumblr which is quick and simple and just works.
My new url is: alex-finney-blog.tumblr.com which though a bit long links straight from my site.
I messed around with a theme I liked the look of and I'm left with a fully functioning wall / grid of colour and movement! Love it.
As you can see above, I included an ask box - '@' and a link back to my real website - 'www'.
As i'm producing more work, a fast paced blog just seems more appropriate to my practice and as an employer I'd like to see the workings out behind the finished projects!
